Isn’t It Amazing How Some Things Just Never Change?

No matter what happens the story remains the same. I inherited this crisis and I am doing everything I can to make things better but as it will only get worse since I inherited this crisis.

The more money the government spends on ECONOMIC STIMULUS plans the more the unemployment rate goes up, and yet the administration never makes the connection that perhaps it is his policies that is causing the crisis that he inherited. Oh well November is almost here and then we can start to get to work on erasing this Obama crisis we Americans inherited with his nomination in 2009.

Su Casa, Mi Casa

Today’s Los Angeles Times had this report:

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal.

The couple spent $8,875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. ARTICLE SOURCE
In a speech April 28 in Iowa City President Obama made a few comments about the Arizona bill enforcing Federal law on illegal immigration. He said:
…this law that just passed in Arizona — which I think is a poorly conceived law –you can try to make it really tough on people who look like they, “might be illegal immigrants.” One of the things that the law says is local officials are allowed to ask somebody who they have a suspicion might be an illegal immigrant for their papers. But you can imagine, if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona — your great-grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state.
Here is the video of the whole speech, listen if you dare.

Then today Barack Obama went off the TelePrompter in his speech to a Quincy, Illinois audience about Wall Street reform. After saying that Democrats dont begrudge success thats “fairly earned,” Obama then ad-libs and reveals more about himself than he probably wanted:

Were not, were not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success thats fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point youve made enough money. But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if youre providing a good product or providing good service. We dont want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy. Source

Check it out yourself if you do not believe me: Illinois Speech

According to our President, illegal immigrants have as much right to be here as those who actually took the time to become legal citizens, and Arizona passed a poorly conceived law, which only enforces Federal law but according to Obama enforcing any law is poorly conceived because if you remember he said the same thing about the Cambridge police when they arrested Professor Gates:

So I think I have this whole remake America thing figured out. Let’s get back to Al Gore’s new home. Apparently Al and Tipper, according to Obama, have more than enough money already therefore I think it only proper that we spread the wealth around a bit (another position of our historic President). This is what I propose:

We need to truck in 8 families of illegal immigrants, along with ladders to scale the walls, to Al and Tipper Gore’s new mansion. Since they have the right to share in America’s wealth then they should be allowed to take up residence in Al and Tipper’s many bedrooms. With 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms this has to be more wealth than any two people need. The Montecito Police will not be allowed to arrest these folks because they were here first according to Obama and it is because of them America exists. We might as well throw in a few native American’s as well to fill up this mansion nicely since they were here before Al Gore was and that land has to belong to one of their great great great grandfathers.

There apparently are many who share this philosophy that gate crashers and squatters have as much right to be here as the legal occupants do. So what do you say Al? Mi amigo, Su Casa Mi Casa. Si senor?

Puerto Ricans Upset with Gov Spending Vote For Conservative Governor

Sounds like the main land can learn a lesson from our Island cousin.

Fortuno won election as governor in 2008 by 11 percentage points, becoming the first Republican governor of Puerto Rico since 1969.

Interestingly, Puerto Rico saw a GOP wave, with the governorship and the Legislature won by Republicans in the same year Obama and the Democrats swept to power.

Fortuno’s election in Puerto Rico was even more unusual because the island is heavily Democratic. It also doesn’t have alternative media such as Fox News on its major cable system.
But the public, both higher-income and lower-income, was

united and angry about one thing — the massive amount of spending and benefits lavished on public employees. Voters revolted by electing conservative Fortuno.

A Reaganite, he clearly sees government as the problem, not the solution. He has proposed a bill to cut the number of seats in the Puerto Rican Legislature by 30 percent.

Federal Debt Unsustainable according to CBO Chief

Government spending and largess has swamped America in an unsustainable debt crisis. And what do the politicos come up with as a solution? You guessed it RAISE TAXES. Hey how about this idea… CUT THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT and REDUCE SPENDING. GET OUT OF THE HEALTH CARE BUSINESS. How about quit sticking your big fat nose under every FREE ENTERPRISE tent in America.

LAY OFF the ENTIRE federal government. I THINK WE THE PEOPLE will find a way to survive without you guys. The political class is KILLING AMERICA.

President Obama's budget.

The problem ‘cannot be solved through minor tinkering,’ the head of the Congressional Budget Office said Thursday morning.

The nation’s fiscal path is “unsustainable,” and the problem “cannot be solved through minor tinkering,” the head of the Congressional Budget Office said Thursday morning.

Elmendorf noted a recent CBO report that pegged an increase in the public debt from $7.5 trillion at the end of 2009 to $20.3 trillion at the end of 2020 if President Barack Obama’s fiscal 2011 budget were to be implemented as written. As a percentage of gross domestic product, the debt would rise from 53 percent to 90 percent, CBO forecasted. The last time the percentage was that high was right after World War II.

“If at the end of the day we need to raise taxes, we should raise taxes,” Volcker said.

On Wednesday, Bernanke said in a speech in Dallas that the government must cut entitlements or raise taxes.

The Obama Touch: All that Glitter is Not Gold

The legendary King Midas was given the gift of the golden touch; everything he touched would turn to gold. Excited at first, he learned the price of greed when the food he tried to eat turned to gold and when he even turned his own daughter into a hunk of gold.
King Obama, twentieth century America, has a magic touch, too. Everything he touches turns to … well … donkey dust… owl hockey… bull shavings… bunny pellets… that sort of thing.
