Sacrificing the Children

Leviticus 20:4-5 (AMP)
4 And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from the man when he gives one of his children [as a burnt offering] to Molech [the fire god] and they overlook it or neglect to take legal action to punish him, winking at his sin, and do not kill him [as My law requires],
5 Then I will set My face against that man and against his family and will cut him off from among their people, him and all who follow him to [unfaithfulness to Me, and thus] play the harlot after Molech.

A shocking report from England today is provoking alarm and outrage worldwide. The report indicates the remains of as many as 15,000 aborted babies were incinerated by British hospital as a heating source.

burningwasteWhile the pro-abortion movement frequently condemns pro-life advocates who draw comparisons between abortion and the Holocaust, the report of babies burned to heat UK hospitals is a shocking reminder of the callous way human life was treated by the Nazi regime. According to the report in the London Telegraph newspaper, the aborted babies were incinerated as “clinical waste” in “waste to energy” plans at British hospitals.

The hospitals, funded by the British government’s NHs health care program, admitting burning the babies’ bodies along with legitimate medical waste and trash. The Department of Health has reportedly issued a ban on the practice, prohibiting the hospitals from exploiting the bodies of babies victimized by abortion any further.

The 15,000 babies whose bodies became fuel for heating hospitals were incinerated at 27 various hospitals and clinics across the U.K. and the parents were not consulted about burning the babies.

Of course I have to pause for just a second and ask myself if the parents actually cared what happened to the baby? I mean many of them were at the hospital to kill the child in the first place, and I guess no one ever stopped to think about what would actually happen to that dead child. I wonder if they actually thought it though that far or if they were more concerned with ending the life of the child because he/she was inconvenient?

There is simply no justification for the horrors of the abortion industry. Thousands of unborn children are eliminated daily, and the majority are offered up as a result of the selfishness and immorality of their parents. After all abortion is being sold as birth control. Yep a good way to control a birth is to kill the baby. Of course the biblical way to avoid giving birth is to not have sex but that is way too much to ask in our selfish, over-sexed society isn’t it?

No abortion is justifiable, but late-term abortions are especially abhorrent–in which a child who could survive, and who feels pain is dismembered, his skull crushed and is scraped from the womb–and we are not ashamed. We calmly abort children simply because they are the “wrong gender.” Indeed, we celebrate abortion. Our “Christian” leaders call it a “blessing.”

Of course we do not offer them to Molech literally, but we should stop and ask ourselves what Molech represents. The ancient gods were offered human sacrifice as an act of appeasement. It was a deal. We give you our children and you give us the “P” words: Protection, Prosperity and Power.

Isn’t it interesting that all religious cult worship involves the sacrifice of something to appease the gods and yet the only religion that does not require this is Christianity and it is the Christians who are called barbaric and evil.

The reason the God of Christianity does not require a sacrifice is because he became the sacrifice for us. God himself passed through the fire so that no other sacrifice is required.

Give careful thought to your ways because one day you will have to give an account of everything you have done.

Now that is how I see it! What say you?

The similarities are too many to ignore. Remember God is not a respecter of persons, if he punished one society for their lawlessness and debauchery He is most likely to do the same for all others who follow after the same course. If God destroyed both Sodom and Gomorrah, and the late Roman Empire, America is not immune to his wrath.

There are many in America who have cried out against this debasement of our society, most often they are ignored or worse ridiculed and lambasted. Those who espouse decency are declared extremist and radical while all those who promote the killing of children and immoral sexual debasement are called champions of civil-rights.

Be warned! God is not mocked! What he done before he will surely do again!

The culture of the Roman world was brutal and nasty. Ironically, we see its worst practices reviving with vigor. Please give us a moment as we recount a history seldom taught today’s students.

The Roman Empire had a twisted view about the value of human life. These views were banished by the ascendency of Christ’s teaching. Infanticide was both legal and encouraged in ancient Rome. Pagan societies, such as the Carthaginians, Romans and Greeks went so far as to kill their children outside the womb, sometimes as a religious sacrifice to their gods. According to Plutarch, the Carthaginians “offered up their own children, and those who had no children would buy little ones from poor people and cut their throats as if they were so many lambs of young birds; meanwhile the mothers stood by without a tear or moan.”

We see a modern American society which looks at children as a burden, and a generation of mothers who have decided by their own “choice” to sacrifice a generation. Population control is now an international objective.

Roman views on homosexuality were closer to today’s views than many realize. Pundit Nathaniel Blake characterizes it this way: “But, the Roman conception of same-sex relationships was very different than that of the modern West. The most important factors in the Roman view seem to have been the status and role of the partners. The Romans did not consider homosexual or heterosexual identities as exclusive from one another. While bisexuality was common, strict homosexuality was all but unknown. Unlike the modern view, social class mattered a great deal in the acceptability of homosexual relations. The upper classes were much more likely to indulge in homosexual acts, and masters had the sexual use of their slaves.” It was common to see an older man who held dominance over a younger male, using him for sexual pleasure.

Finally, we see the debasement of money and profligacy of the state. Today taxpayers fund stadiums for the “games.” Roman emperors don’t hold a candle to the US Congress and the Federal Reserve in the looting of the public coffers and destruction of money.

In this, Roman Emperor Caracalla comes to mind. In addition to murdering his brother, Caracalla is mostly remembered for granting Roman citizenship to every Freeman in the empire. Caracalla’s goal was to broaden the tax base to pay for his extravagant spending. He raised the inheritance tax so he could double public salaries and win the allegiance of the legions. His public works are still on display today. If you visit Rome, you can see the ruins of the gigantic “Baths of Caracalla.”

His final contribution rivals the Federal Reserve. The silver denarius was an innovation in sound money introduced by Emperor Augustus. It was 95 percent silver like America’s pre- 1964 coinage, and the denarius lead to greatly improved honest trade around the empire. Caracalla, in his drive to increase spending, changed it to a coin with only 50 percent silver.

It took later emperors to debase it as far as the Federal Reserve has debased America’s currency. By 268 AD the denarius was only 0.5 percent silver. The result was predictable, as prices rose throughout the empire by up to 1,000 percent. Soon the “barbarians” hired by the emperor as mercenaries would not accept the denarius as payment, and insisted on being paid in gold.

Such manipulations by Roman leaders are legendary, but Americans who fail to understand history are doomed to repeat it. The moral and financial collapse of Rome lead to a renaissance of morality and the “Christian Era.” We can only hope that the accelerating American collapse leads to a return of the time tested honest culture that celebrates life, prudently shuns sexual immorality, and with commerce flourishing after a return to honest money.

Indiana appears to be the next state to challenge federal law by passing a law of their own. Like Arizona on Immigration, Wisconsin on public sector unions, Florida on Obamacare, Indiana is taking on Taxpayer funded Abortions.

State officials in Indiana say they will defy the decision by the Obama administration asking it to not proceed with implementing a new pro-life state law that would revoke taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

Governor Mitch Daniels (a republican) signed the law , which would cut off anywhere from $2 million to $3 million the Planned Parenthood abortion business receives in federal funds via the Indiana government through Medicaid . Daniels said that “any organization affected by this provision can resume receiving taxpayer dollars immediately by ceasing or separating its operations that perform abortions.”

Like all other federal programs however, the feds like to have the last word. What they can not get passed through legislation they force upon the American people through the many agencies in the bloated federal government.

However, the Obama administration told the state it can’t implement the new law, with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Donald Berwick denying a request to deny funds saying the federal Medicaid law stipulates that states can’t exclude providers based on the services they provide.

See a pattern here? A state passes a law that the federal government does not like and the federal government steps in to threaten the state and force them to comply.

Planned Parenthood challenged the constitutionality of the law and filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis just hours after Daniels signed the legislation into law. It alleges the law would violate contracts already in place between it and the state and that it forces Planned Parenthood to choose between doing abortions and getting taxpayer funding.

On the heels of the federal government strong-arm tactics lawsuits are filed by the various special interest groups, all designed to force states to spend even more taxpayer money to fight off the federal government. The federal government has gotten way out of hand. They have usurped their limited constitutional powers and have set themselves up as supreme rulers.

“The Obama administration appears to be intent on trying to force Indiana to subsidize the business of abortion in direct contrast to the desires of the state legislature and the people of Indiana.  Indiana must refuse to be bullied by the federal government and must challenge this politically-charged determination with full vigor.  The state of Indiana has a right to determine how it will manage its Medicaid program and to select the providers it will partner with.  Planned Parenthood is not entitled to public funding,” he said.

The people voted in 2010 and sent a strong message to Washington that "we the people" are still in charge of America. They sent a loud message that they were not happy with the direction the Federal government was taking the country and they voted to replace state and local leadership hoping they will be more responsive to the ‘will of the people’. Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Wisconsin all seem to have gotten the message and are working hard to return the country back to the people. At each step of the journey the federal government is spending taxpayer money to fight against the tax payers.

There are more of us then there are of you so be warned, things are about to get very interesting for 2012.

Annual ‘March for Life’ to Hit Nation’s Capital on Monday

(CNSNews.com) The annual March for Life pro-life rally is set to hit the nation’s capital on Monday, Jan. 24, bringing thousands of pro-life activists to Washington to commemorate the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

Held every year since 1974, the year following the high court’s decision, the march regularly draws upwards of 150,000 activists each year to the nation’s capital to both mark the anniversary of the Roe decision and to oppose the continued existence of abortion on demand.

This year’s march will feature Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-Minn.) as the keynote speaker at its Rose Dinner event that marks the end of a weekend of protests and ceremonies focused on ending abortion.

One story was the news that 41 percent of pregnancies in New York City end in an abortion. That figure, twice the national average, was called “chilling” by New York Catholic Archbishop Timothy Dolan, who also said he was “embarrassed” for the city over the abnormally high rate of abortions.

The second major abortion story concerns that of a Philadelphia abortionist, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who was charged with eight counts of murder after investigators discovered that one woman and seven babies died during botched abortion procedures that he reportedly performed.

The march will begin on the National Mall and end in front of the Supreme Court building located directly behind the U.S. Capitol.

According to the liberal Guttmacher Institute, 1.2 million abortions take place in the United states each year.  Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, a little over 52 million children have been killed by abortion in America.

Are You Like Martin Luther King?

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked (Ps 82:3-4).

God raises up leaders to take on causes that are much greater than themselves.

However, these causes are often first birthed as a result of a personal crisis or conviction; then this leads to a larger cause. Not until you are moved with deep conviction are you able to stand against the tide in opposition to a position.

Last year Markai Durham, a girl featured on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant with her boyfriend James, found herself pregnant again. She explored her options, talked with her mother and best friend, and discussed with her boyfriend their financial situation and the daughter they already had. Then she made the choice they all said only she could make. But the pain seeped through.

Markai’s voice broke when she called the abortion business to ask for information: "Afterwards, do you know, like, how I’ll be or how I’ll feel?" After the abortion, when her boyfriend called her baby a "thing," she lashed out: "You would never feel my pain. You weren’t the one in the surgery room. I was there." Markai pointed to their curly-haired baby, "A ‘thing’ can turn out like that. . . . ‘Nothing but a bunch of cells’ can be her."

Experiencing the pain of abortion first hand changed Markai’s perspective. Her response to her boyfriend shows the depth of pain she felt as she lashed out against his insensitive description of the aborted child.

Markai like Martin Luther King had a personal conviction. An inner burning, a deep sense of the subject at hand. Markai felt the deep pain of abortion Luther’s was racial discrimination. Luther sought to change this through preaching and nonviolent demonstrations. It wasn’t long before this became the conviction of others and it became a movement larger than any one person. A recent Pew Research report shows support for abortions decreasing. A greater number of Americans are taking a stand against this shedding of innocent blood.

William Wilberforce was a political statesman in England. He came to Christ when he was twenty-eight years old. He began to have personal convictions about slavery in England and he committed his life to the goal of destroying slavery. He finally achieved his goal after fifty years of work. His work also resulted in sixty-four world changing initiatives before he died.

William Wallace was burdened about the persecution his country received from the wicked English king named Edward the Longshanks. Born in 1272, Wallace grew up under the persecution from the wicked king. When he was older, he led a rebellion against England that resulted in the freedom for the nation of Scotland. The popular movie, Braveheart, was the story of William Wallace.

Norma Leah McCorvey, Jane Roe of Roe V Wade fame, has become a strong advocate for the pro-life movement. In the 1980s, McCorvey asserted that she had been the "pawn" of two young and ambitious lawyers (Weddington and Coffee) who were looking for a plaintiff with whom they could challenge the Texas state law prohibiting abortion.

Today she is a confirmed Catholic Christian and a strong advocate for Operation Rescue’s campaign to make abortion illegal.

You too can make a difference in the life of one person, by speaking up for those who can not speak up for themselves. Join the movement, make a difference, defend the defenseless, take up the cause of the rights of the poor and oppressed. Be a Luther, a Wilberforce, a Wallace, a Markai Durham, or a Norma Leah McCorvey.

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.
