Isn’t It Amazing How Some Things Just Never Change?

https://i0.wp.com/netrightdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Obama-Unemployment.jpg

No matter what happens the story remains the same. I inherited this crisis and I am doing everything I can to make things better but as it will only get worse since I inherited this crisis.

The more money the government spends on ECONOMIC STIMULUS plans the more the unemployment rate goes up, and yet the administration never makes the connection that perhaps it is his policies that is causing the crisis that he inherited. Oh well November is almost here and then we can start to get to work on erasing this Obama crisis we Americans inherited with his nomination in 2009.

When the Intolerant Ask for Tolerance

Whoever isn’t against us is for us. Mark 9:40 (GW)

Seems like a contradiction doesn’t it? How can someone who is intolerant to your beliefs ask you to be tolerant of theirs? How can you allow yourself to be bullied into thinking that someone who does not tolerate you can be reasoned with or trusted? It is their desire to change your belief to theirs not learn about yours. If past actions speaks volumes then unless those past actions are condemned by the person or persons who committed them how is it that all of a sudden they are exonerated? In other words if they are against us how can they be for us?

A lot has been written and discussed about the proposed Muslim Mosque being planned near ground zero in New York City. The one side says that it is an outreach or an attempt to form better relations between us and them. The other side says that it is an abomination to the memory of those who were slaughtered on 9-11 and of course there are varying opinions between these two sides.

Common sense dictates that if your intention is to build a bridge to mend harmful relationships you do not poke the eye of the person you are trying to build a bridge to. If the real intent of this “mosque” was to mend the wound caused by 9-11 then why are they so intent on causing unrest in the very people they intend to reach out to?

In my opinion, the best thing those proposing this mosque could do is use the money slated for this eyesore to pay the victims families for the horror they had to endure as a result of adherents to their religion. Building a mosque only honors the Muslim religion and does nothing for those who suffered at the hands of that religion.

Someone stated the site is to be used more ‘as a cultural center rather than a religious facility, to help to heal some of the wounds caused by a handful of fanatics.’ After all one person concludes, “We’ve mended fences with the citizens of Japan, and we can do the same with Muslims.”

A cultural center could be built by the city and not by some “secret” Muslim backed group if the intent was to educate the people. I do not think the people of New York City need anyone telling them anything about 9-11! They lived through it. In fact the people of New York are telling anyone who will listen that this Mosque is a bad idea! Why aren’t their views considered in the debate. They are simply dismissed as intolerant or bigoted.

As far as mending fences with Japan we did that without building a Shinto center honoring Emperor Hirohito at Pearl Harbor.

There would have to be a change of attitude toward us before I would consider changing my attitude toward radical Muslims. After all they declared ‘jihad’ on us and as far as I know that has not changed. If they are seeking tolerance from us then they need to be tolerant of us. Since Islam has not redacted it’s stance toward us, and it considers America to be the “Great Satan” then personally I do not see why we need to turn a blind eye to this obvious “in your face” symbol of intolerance. They desire for us to accommodate them after they have proven their distaste for America and our way of life. Didn’t 9-11 teach us anything?

Granted there are many American Muslims in our nation who love this nation and who are quite happy living here. There are many who have assimilated into the American lifestyle and have adapted to our ways. However the Inman responsible for the Cordoba project in New York does not happen to be one of these.

I know this sounds harsh but I am offended that anyone would even try to justify this whole absurd idea that a Mosque is a fitting symbol for mending fences at “ground zero.” It is a slap in the face! If no one else will say it then I will. No Mosque, no way, no how, for no reason! I learned all I needed to learn about radical Muslims on 9-11 and since we are still at war with adherents to that religion in Afghanistan and to a lessor degree in Iraq this whole mosque thing makes no sense to me. This is however just a view from the nest.

But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness. Isaiah 40:31 (BBE)

Finally a Prominent Democrat Goes on Record Supporting Tax Cuts

Picture of John F. Kennedy

Tax reduction thus sets off a process that can bring gains for everyone, gains won by marshaling resources that would otherwise stand idle—workers without jobs and farm and factory capacity without markets. Yet many taxpayers seemed prepared to deny the nation the fruits of tax reduction because they question the financial soundness of reducing taxes when the federal budget is already in deficit. Let me make clear why, in today’s economy, fiscal prudence and responsibility call for tax reduction even if it temporarily enlarged the federal deficit—why reducing taxes is the best way open to us to increase revenues. _President John F. Kennedy,   Economic Report of the President,

Now there is a Kennedy legacy that should be promoted and not universal health care. I wonder if this is why he was shot? Just wondering considering how vitriolic the left are toward anyone mentioning tax cuts today.

Man Arrested for Praying Outside Planned Parenthood Facility

The mistake this guy made was praying to God and not Allah and he did not have his prayer rug. I wonder if the police would have arrested a Muslim for praying outside the same building.

Now in defense of the Chicago police the ordinance does say: “displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education or counseling” within 50 feet from any health care facility.” and it is quite obvious from the picture and the accompanying video that two men are seen within 50 feet of the entrance to the building. They both seem to be praying but one is definitely holding a sign. There is the sound of a woman’s voice also heard but not seen praying.

Now praying in public is not forbidden if you are Muslim in fact it must be tolerated, but if you happen to pray to GOD and not Allah then it can be considered illegal activity. Cooler heads need to prevail in this whole matter in my opinion. And for that reason I give the Chicago Police and the Planned Parenthood facility this weeks DODO bird

Complaining witness, left, stands next to Joe Holland, middle, as he prays the rosary outside Planned Parenthood’s Near North Center in Chicago.

Joseph Holland, a 25-year-old graduate student at Northwestern University, says he was standing still praying the rosary outside a Planned Parenthood facility in downtown Chicago July 3 when police arrested him for violating the city’s new “Bubble Zone” ordinance.

The law, passed in October, states that a person cannot approach within 8 feet of another person without consent “for the purpose of passing a leaflet or handbill to, displaying a sign to, or engaging in oral protest, education or counseling” within 50 feet from any health care facility.

But Holland says he didn’t approach or interfere with anyone.

Obama and Democrats Place Economy on ‘Crash Course’

Great Depression: man dressed in worn coat lyi...

This is serious business folks. These ‘fools’ in congress have spent us beyond our ability to recover. It is imperative that ‘fiscal conservatives‘ step in and apply the brakes to this run-away, federal spending, train wreck. It has become increasingly obvious even to the causal observer that federal spending is out of control.

Come on people vote these fools out of office and take our country back from these ruinous democrat policies. The good times are over, it is time to get off the party train and take some fiscal responsibility before it is all over. Which may come sooner than you think.

Warning signs are everywhere — most of them carefully phrased and nuanced, but warnings, nevertheless. Greece and, closer to home, California are painful reminders of what could happen. CNBC is reporting that the Dow is repeating patterns that prevailed just before the Great Depression. The U.S. workforce suffered one its sharpest declines ever — a drop of 652,000 — in June. Economists claim that “wages are flirting with deflation.” It’s hard to find good news on the financial front. Now, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) just released its “Long-Term Budget Outlook” to confirm what people already feared: The national debt is devastating for the future of America. According to the CBO, “the federal government has been recording the largest budget deficits, as a share of the economy, since the end of World War II.” As a result, the CBO paints a very bleak picture of our nation’s future prospects. Further, as the world’s remaining superpower, this country’s terrible financial condition affects all other nations — a fact that makes the CBO report even more alarming.
Sadly, Shaw’s dismal picture is not sobering enough. Douglas W. Elmendorf, director of the CBO, noted that the nation’s debt to GDP surged from 40 percent to 62 percent in just two years.
To compound the alarm, the CBO admits to understating the severity of the problem because its report does not include the negative impact that “substantial amounts of additional federal debt” would have on other aspects of the nation’s economy.
