WASHINGTON (October 20, 2014) – While Republicans in Congress shout, “Repeal Obamacare,” GOP governors in many states have quietly accepted the law’s major Medicaid expansion. They just don’t see the law going away, even if their party wins control of the Senate in the upcoming elections.

I could not help but comment on this article. Governor Kasich of Ohio as really bought the whole expansion of Medicaid under the Not so Affordable Care Act hook line and sinker. The problem is he will be long out of office when the price tag comes due on the huge Medicaid costs that are going to have to be paid by later administrations.
He is not alone, nine Republican governors have accepted the Medicaid coverage expansion for low-income people in their states, despite their own misgivings and adamant opposition from conservative legislators. Three more governors are negotiating with the Democratic administration in Washington.
Rather than demanding repeal, the governors generally have sought federal concessions to make their decisions more politically acceptable at home.
In other words they are seeking FEDERAL MONEY to subsidize their expansion of Medicaid coverage in their state. So listen up taxpayers, not only are you required to buy and pay for your own insurance under Obummer Care you must also pony up and help to pay for the POOR AND NEEDY in other states. These states decide they want to add more people to the welfare rolls but do not wish to pay for it themselves so they petition Washington D.C. to have the lawmakers stick their hands into your pockets and take more of your hard-earned dollars to pay for this expansion, and then they turn around and say that this is MORALLY more acceptable then a repealing of the whole Obamacare fiasco.
According to John Kasich of Ohio:
"The opposition to it (Obamacare) was really either political or ideological," the Republican governor added. "I don’t think that holds water against real flesh and blood, and real improvements in people’s lives." In a state that’s pivotal for national politics, Kasich casts Medicaid expansion as a moral choice to help the poor.
Now then whose lives are actually being improved here? Not the lives of those whose Medical coverage has been dropped or whose out-of-pocket expenses have doubled or even tripled due to the increase in insurance premiums and higher deductibles. Those who do not have to pay anything for health-care coverage may be benefiting but not the rest of us who have to PAY THE BILL so that these Governors can give hand-outs to their voters.
As Kasich suggested, millions of people now have a tangible benefit that would be taken away if the health law were repealed. Oh but Mr Kasich many who formerly had healthcare coverage have lost it under Obamacare and they might actually get it back if the law was repealed, what do you have to say to those people? The big lie that Obama kept repeating was if you like your healthcare coverage you can keep your healthcare coverage has proven to be FALSE for many hard-working American citizens. What are they going to do now that Obamacare has cost them their coverage?
"Any GOP replacement law would probably have to give most of those people a way to remain insured, and that would involve considerable taxpayer expense and government regulation." Kasich said. Don’t you love the way these politicians think? They are bemoaning taxpayer expense out of one side of their mouth while at the same time beseeching the federal government for TAXPAYER money to FUND their GIVE-AWAY programs.
When did the citizenry of this country get the idea that certain folks are entitled to a FREE LUNCH at the expense of their neighbors? Oh I know where they got the idea from POLITICIANS who love to dole out goodies around election time.
Kasich like other misguided politicos like to make every issue a political one. Kasich even dismissed the opposition to Obamacare as ideological or just political. You see folks we are not permitted to have an HONEST opinion about anything especially if it opposes some lame-brained ideological idea that some politician thought up. These politicians think that only their ideas are sound and irrefutable, and they disdain the citizenry and ridicule and belittle us because they feel we do not possess the good sense to know what we want, or how to manage our affairs. Granted there are many in our society who are not capable of managing their affairs so they vote for more NANNY-STATE programs. For the vast majority of American citizens this is not the case.
There is a very good chance that OBAMACARE is here to stay because neither party really wants to give up the power and control that OBAMACARE provides for those who make the laws. Obamacare is the vehicle that BIG GOVERNMENT can use to control every aspect of the citizen’s lives and to think that one day every citizen is going to have to BEG these lawmakers for their very lives because they will not be able to get medical care. Oh you will have COVERAGE but you will not have any care, and trust me the POLITICOS won’t care a wit about you or your situation.
