Al Gore Spouts Hateful Rhetoric in Email to DCCC

WARNING LOON ALERT

Not that I really much care what Al Gore has to say but I do think it is hilarious that the pot is calling the kettle black. Here read it for yourself what Mr. Gore has to say about the TEA party and its members during a fund-raising pitch for the DCCC.

"Single-minded proponents of a dangerous and extremist agenda are working feverishly to roll back every Democratic gain we’ve ever made," Gore says in an e-mail on behalf of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

Single-minded proponents of a dangerous and extremist agenda are working feverishly alright but it is not the TEA PARTY who are extreme it is your own party Al. The Democrat party under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid worked single-mindedly with an extremist agenda to roll back the Constitution of the United States and undo every aspect of personal liberty in America that was at one time guaranteed under the Constitution.

Oh but he was not done he also had this to say:

"The Tea Partiers now calling the shots in the Republican Party won’t back away from their radical agenda."

Since when is standing up and defending the Constitution a RADICAL agenda Al? Perhaps the one with the radical agenda would be you and your greenie weenie buddies who insist that Carbon Dioxide is a pollutant although over 30,000 scientists disagree. And would George Soros and his billions backing Obama’ and the democrat’s agenda be considered buying influence? Couldn’t it be argued that George Soros is calling the shots in the Democrat Party which won’t back away from their radical agenda, influenced by the likes of Saul Alinsky? Yeah me thinks you protest too much Al. Why not retire to a sub-tropical location somewhere and soak up some global warming and leave the future of this country to grown-ups.

Since I believe Mr. Al Gore has lost his mind I can safely say this one has flown over the cuckoo’s nest. You have been warned the loons are loose.

This is just another view from the nest.

Eagle out!

Pete Stark says Debt Limit Debate is a “political charade”

Pete Stark (D-CA) told an audience Saturday morning that the Debt Limit debate is a ‘’political charade’.

I agree. Hold their feet to the fire. Force a vote on “Cut cap and balance”. Push the Senate to pass the Ryan 2012 budget plan.

This is the only sensible, workable solution to the current fiscal crisis.

TEA Party is What is RIGHT in America

Although much alighned by the left-leaning news agencies, the tea party advocates have been right about what is wrong with America more so than the so-called experts. Take a look at a few examples:

Amplify’d from www.americanthinker.com

Minimum wage.  One of the first things Democrats did after taking back Congress in 2007 was raise the federal minimum wage 41% from 2007 to 2009.  Result?  The unemployment rate went from 4.4% in May 2007 to 10.1% in 2009.  It is 9.2% even today — four years later.

As for teens, the unemployment rate went from 14.9% to 27.1%, the highest ever recorded, meaning since 1948.  Today it is still a high 24.5%.  And for blacks: from a low of 7.9% in 2007 to 16.5% in 2010.  It is still a high 16.2%.

The Democrat Congress also decided to apply the same minimum wages to American Samoa.  Results?  Near-decimation of its economy, one that had been based largely on low-cost tuna canning and textile work.

… employment fell 19 percent from 2008 to 2009 … tuna canning employment fell 55 percent from 2009 to 2010… Average inflation-adjusted earnings fell by 5 percent from 2008 to 2009 and by 11 percent from 2006 to 2009.

TARP.  Unless you were a politician or executive of a large bank, you were likely against the Troubled Asset Relief Program.  I would guess that most anyone now calling herself a member of the Tea Party was against TARP in 2008.  But Senator Barack Obama voted for it, along with most of his Democrat colleagues.  Also the top brains of the Stupid Party pushed it: Henry Paulson , George W. Bush, and John McCain .

Here’s the funny thing: while Paulson was lending out less than $0.3 trillion, the Federal Reserve was lending out over $16T to do about the same thing!  By my calculations, Paulson’s TARP slush fund was less than 2% the size of the Federal Reserve’s.

Do you think that 2% was critical to staving off financial apocalypse?  (FYI, over 3T of the Fed’s emergency loans were to subsidiaries of foreign-owned banks.)

When the dust cleared, the federal government owned two bankrupt car companies and the god-awful home mortgage portfolios of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — entities that had nothing to do with the original purpose of TARP.

Global markets were so enamored with TARP that there was an immediate sell-off of about 20% in global stock markets the moment it went into effect.  I also credit TARP, and McCain’s reaction to it, for McCain’s loss to Obama.  Ever since, all budget discussions have involved units of trillions instead of mere billions.  The world has not been the same since TARP.

Stimulus.  Opposition to Obama’s stimulus was the origin of the Tea Party.  Now we know the story.

How the stimulus was sold: It would create three million jobs or more.  It would keep the unemployment rate under 8%, instead of 9% without a stimulus.  It would cost $787B.  The jobs were shovel-ready.

What really happened: There are 1.2 million fewer jobs now than when the stimulus was passed.  Unemployment went over 10% (vs. prediction of 8%) and is still over 9% (vs. prediction of about 6.8% at this time).  It cost $814B or more.  Maybe 6% of it went to infrastructure projects.  Obama’s reaction?  A little joke: “Shovel ready was not as shovel ready as we expected.”

ObamaCare.  ObamaCare was sold as a way to bend the health “cost curve” down.  As it turned out, it is bending the cost curve up — health care will be more costly than it would have been without ObamaCare.  It’s so great that in its first year about 1,500 companies, states, and unions were granted waivers.

ObamaCare strangled the recovery in the crib.  The private sector has been generating only 6,400 jobs per month since it was passed, compared to 67,600 before.  We would never return to pre-recession unemployment levels at the current pace.  ObamaCare is costing us over 60,000 jobs per month.

Drilling moratorium.  According to a new study by IHS Global Insight, merely picking up the pace in granting oil drilling permits would go a long way in producing jobs throughout the US, adding to GDP and reducing dependency on foreign oil sources.  In 2012 alone it could mean 230,000 new jobs, $44B more in GDP, 150 million more barrels of oil, and $15B less in imported oil.

Budgets.  Now we find ourselves in another budget fight, with the Tea Party getting the blame from much of the media and liberal punditry.  The truth is that Democrats have not even written, much less passed, a budget of any kind in over two years; they simply kill everyone else’s.

  • The Republican-led House passed a budget on schedule in April.  Senate Democrats voted it down.
  • Obama proposed a budget in February.  The Congressional Budget Office scored it as having a 10-year cumulative deficit of $9.5 trillion.  The Democrat-led Senate voted that down too, 97-0.
  • The House proposed the only written plan for addressing the debt ceiling — the Cut, Cap and Balance plan.  Senate Democrats voted that down, too.

God’s Standard Bearers

…When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV)

They have been much maligned by the mainstream press. They are hated and vilified by ‘liberal’ activists and politicians. They are considered illegitimate by some but their presence can be seen and their influence felt none-the-less. To conservatives and people of faith however, the tea-party movement represents nothing less than a mighty move of God upon the hearts of his people.

–“We wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes….For our transgressions are multiplied before Thee, and our sins testify against us….In transgressing and lying against the Lord and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward and justice standeth afar off: for Truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter. Yea. Truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil is accounted mad” (Isaiah 59:9-15, see margin of v. 15). Nevertheless when Satan has brought in a flood of lying errors and lawlessness has become ascendant, the Spirit of God intervenes and thwarts Satan’s vile purpose.

The solemn verses quoted above accurately describe the awful conditions in Israel under the reign of Ahab and his heathen consort Jezebel. Because of their multiplied transgressions, God had given up the people to blindness and darkness and a spirit of falsehood and madness possessed their hearts. In consequence, Truth was fallen in the street-ruthlessly trampled underfoot by the masses. Idolatry had become the State religion: the worship of Baal was the order of the day: wickedness was rampant on every side. The Enemy had indeed come in like a flood, and it looked as though there was no barrier left which could stem its devastating effects. Then it was that the Spirit of the Lord lifted up a standard against him, making public demonstration that the God of Israel was highly displeased with the sins of the people, and would now visit their iniquities upon them. That heavenly standard was raised aloft by the hand of Elijah.

God has never left Himself without witnesses on earth. In the very darkest seasons of human history the Lord has raised up and maintained a testimony for Himself. Neither persecution nor corruption could entirely destroy it. In the days of the antediluvians, when the earth was filled with violence and all flesh had corrupted His way, Jehovah had an Enoch and a Noah to act as His mouthpieces. When the Hebrews were reduced to abject slavery in Egypt, the Most High sent forth Moses and Aaron as His ambassadors, and at every subsequent period in their history one Prophet after another was sent to them.

So also has it been throughout the whole course of Christendom: in the days of Nero, in the time of Charlemagne, and even in the dark ages-despite the incessant opposition of the Papacy-the Lamp of Truth was never extinguished. And so it is today the Tea-party has arisen as a standard against this evil tide that has come upon us. Be sure to stand with the tea-party and help reclaim America. Vote for God and country Tuesday Nov 2nd 2010.

And that is this week’s tail feather.

But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness. Isaiah 40:31Open Link in New Window (BBE)
