Liberty or Tyranny

Robert Charles Winthrop (1809–1894), an American philanthropist, congressman from Massachusetts, and one-time Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, stated “Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or by a power without them; either by the Word of God or by the strong-arm of man; either by the Bible or by the bayonet.” We find ourselves in the state we are in because of the choices we made in the past. We chose to place our trust in the tyrannical arm of a central government rather than the strong-arm of a benevolent God.The only way back from total tyranny is total surrender to God. For blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Ps 33:12 http://amplify.com/u/bs3c0

It is no longer a matter of wealth redistribution, these Demonic Rats want to steal all that you worked for your entire life so that they can buy off supporters so that they can stay in power. This is not the country our founders envisioned, in fact it is the very thing they fought so valiantly against. That is TYRANNY.

Face it folks these fools in Washington have their eyes on your property and are going to figure how they can steal it from you unless you send these bums to the unemployment line quickly.

It is not just the rich they are after, they are after anyone who is not dependent upon them or even worse who does not support them.

Be afraid be VERY AFRAID.

Fiscally Responsible Politicians?

This headline screams OXYMORON. It is impossible to even suggest that ANYONE on the democrat side of the aisle is FISCALLY Conservative. The spending in the White House is horrendous!

But like all liberal politicians, there is not a spending plan they will not support nor a tax they will not impose! Hold on to your wallets and jobs if you can. Them dems are on a roll.

Fiscally conservative Dems back Obama budget

Jim Brown – OneNewsNow – 4/3/2009 8:00:00 AMBookmark and Share
Obama moneyA deficit hawk in Congress argues that President Obama’s budget spends, borrows, and taxes far too much.

The Congressional Budget Office projects that the national debt will jump to $23 trillion by the end of President Obama’s ten-year budget. However, some Democrats who, in the past, have advocated “pay as you go” budget rules, are lining up to support the President’s budget.
House Minority Leader John Boehner‘s office has compiled a 41-page document with quotes from various congressional Democrats who railed against the red ink run-up in President Bush’s budgets and who have, in the past, spoken in favor of a balanced budget amendment, yet have chosen this legislative session to back the budget crafted by President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Between Two Thieves

Between Two Thieves
Then two thieves were put on crosses with him,
one on the right and one on the left.
Matt 27:38 (BBE)

The old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years He had faithfully
served the people of the nation’s capital. He motioned for his nurse to come near.
“Yes, Father?” said the nurse.

“I would really like to see Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi before I die”, whispered the priest.

“I’ll see what I can do, Father,” replied the nurse. So the nurse sent the request to Pelosi and Reid and waited for a response.

Soon the word arrived. Harry and Nancy would be delighted to visit the priest. As they went to the hospital, Harry commented to Nancy, “I don’t know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our images.” Nancy couldn’t help but agree.

When they arrived at the priest’s room, the priest took Nancy ‘s hand in
his right hand and Harry’s hand in his left. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest’s face.

Finally Nancy spoke. “Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?”

The old priest slowly replied “I have always tried to pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” The old priest continued…”He died between two lying thieves. I would like to do the same.”

The Little Red Hen

Insight for your “Journey across the Sky”
A View from the Nest www.eagleviews.org

Below is a modern rewrite of The Little Red Hen a Golden Book classic.

Once upon a time, on a farm in Virginia , there was a little red Republican hen who scratched and scratched diligently about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat. She called all of her Democrat farm animal neighbors together and said; ‘If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?’

‘Not I,’ said the cow.
‘Not I,’ said the duck.
‘Not I,’ said the pig.
‘Not I,’ said the goose.

‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen, and so she did.
The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain. ‘Who will help me reap my wheat?’ asked the little red hen.

‘Not I’, said the duck.
‘Out of my classification’, said the pig.
‘I’d lose my seniority’, said the cow.
‘I’d lose my unemployment compensation’, said the goose.
‘Then I will do it by myself’ said the little red hen, and so she did.
At last it came time to bake the bread. ‘Who will help me bake the bread?’, asked the little red hen.

‘That would be overtime for me’ said the cow.
‘I’d lose my welfare benefits,’ said the duck.
‘I’m a dropout and never learned how,’ said the pig.
‘If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination, ‘ said the goose.

‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen.

She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see.

They wanted some and in fact, demanded a share. But the little red hen said, ‘No, I shall eat all five loaves.’

‘Excess profits!’ cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
‘Capitalist leech!’ screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)
‘I demand equal rights!’ yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Ted Kennedy)
And they all painted ‘Unfair!’ picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.

Then Farmer Obama came along. He said to the little red hen; ‘You must not be so greedy.’

‘But I earned the bread,’ said the little red hen.

‘Exactly,’ said Barack the farmer. ‘That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are ignorant, lazy and idle.’

And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, ‘I am grateful, for now I truly understand.’ She never again baked bread because she joined the other ‘party’ and got her bread free.

And all the Democrats smiled. ‘Fairness’ had been established. Individual initiative had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared…so long as there was free bread that ‘the rich’ were paying for. Â Author unknown.
