Compare and Contrast: Reagan Versus Huntsman

President Ronald Reagan – Liberty State Park [Pt. 1]

Compare that to this:

VIDEO – Jon Huntsman: “I’m a Candidate for the Office of President of the United States of America”

Now then you decide if Huntsman is Reagan like or not. As for me and my house, Jon Huntsman is a Reagan wannabe and a very poor imitation. Not even close to espousing the same principles of Ronald Wilson Reagan. The circumstances are very similar, the location is exactly the same, we are battling the same battles now as then. Compare Reagan’s approach to Mr Huntsman’s.

To listen to modern day liberals without Government run welfare our society would not care for its own. However a look at history reveals just the opposite. In fact many more minorities were provided with much better care than under the current government run program. So once again minorities and children are hurt the most by centralized welfare redistribution.

Many people think life without the welfare state would be chaos, and nobody would help support the less fortunate. A little known fact is people found innovative ways of supporting each other before the welfare state existed. One of the most important of these ways was the mutual-aid society.

The rise to welfare came after government regulation and interference in these  mutual-aid societie’s health care and social care programs. In fact many ‘mutual-aid societies"organizations ran medical centers which provided quality, affordable health care to members and non-members alike.

Mutual aid, also known as fraternalism, refers to social organizations that gathered dues and paid benefits to members facing hardship. There was a "great stigma" attached to accepting government aid during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Mutual aid, on the other hand, did not carry the same stigma. It was based on reciprocity: today’s mutual-aid recipient could be tomorrow’s donor, and vice versa. Mutual aid was particularly popular among the poor and the working class.

Although mutual-aid societies operated smoothly for many years their demise was inevitable. Many special interets groups had more than enough motives to stop or hinder the popularity of these private mutual-aid societies and lobbied lawmakers to pass legislation that adversely affected these fraternal organizations.

One of the biggest opponnents was the American Medical Association which gained control of the licensing of medical schools where-by they were able to pick and choose which medical schools they would deem acceptable (those which supported the AMA got favorable ratings) and the result was a 51% decline in medical schools which produced a doctor shortage which caused the cost of medical care to increase. This made it impractical for mutual-aid societies to retain the services of a doctor. In addition to licensing medical schools the AMA’s medical boards threatened the licenses of many doctors who would practice lodge medicine. Thereby monopolizing the medical field. This was the beginning of the end of mutual-aid.

Although millions of Americans are still members of fraternal societies such as the Masons or Oddfellows, the organizations no longer have the importance in society that they once did. The history of fraternalism serves as a reminder of the power of human cooperation in a free society.

Oil Policy Hypocrisy

In what can only be called hypocrisy a Democratic controlled Senate committee last week passed legislation that would attempt to allow lawsuits in U.S. courts against any foreign state or cooperative for limiting the production of oil or natural gas. The bill, nicknamed “NOPEC ,” targets the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

It’s ironic that the “NOPEC” bill tries to ban the very thing that U.S. energy policy does on a daily basis – limiting production of oil and natural gas supplies. Consider the following:

  • The majority of America’s offshore acreage remains off-limits to oil and gas exploration and production.
  • Exploration and development in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico – which accounts for 30 percent of all U.S. crude oil production – was effectively banned for the past year.
  • Legislation enacted in the U.S. is targeted at restricting the supply of oil from Canada – a country whose oil reserves are second only to Saudi Arabia’s.

These policies show very clearly how absurd this NOPEC law is. I guess congress has no problem with oil and natural gas drilling as long as it is anywhere else but at home. These loony lawmakers have long ago lost sense of reality. They obstruct domestic energy production making us more and more vulnerable to foreign nations, many of which are hostile to our nation and therefore pose a real security risk.

Although overturned by federal court Obama still maintains an oil drilling moratorium in the Gulf which as cost thousands of American jobs and millions of dollars in revenue which is very much needed in this Obama produced depression.

Policies like this and the thousands of other punitive regulations pouring forth from congress each year is the reason American citizens are FED up with our government. Our national interests are constantly being undermined by these environmental communists in government.

The 2012 election is another chance to rid Washington of these leftist, environmental nut-jobs and restore some sanity to DC. For this and for a myriad of other brainless idiotic policy decision Congress wins the first lifetime DoDo Bird award.

This administration as surely flown way over the cuckoo’s nest.

Christian wallpaper Matthew 4:8-9
The hidden source of world domination has always been satanic by nature. The evil intentions of Satan was to dominate the world and make all men subject to his demonic rule. The ever growing animosity toward anything Christian in today’s America is an real sign of the spiritual war being waged against our nation’s soul. Antisemitism is another sign of the spirit of anti-Christ in the world.

Be careful and be fully aware of the powers at work in our society. The efforts of fallen man to remove any mention of Christ from our society is a sure sign of Satan’s evil intentions on world domination.

In a move that really comes as no surprise Indian Planned Parenthood halted services to Medicaid Patients after state funds where cut. Indiana’s Governor signed into law a bill which cut $3 million dollars from Planned Parenthood in an effort to limit tax payer money from funding abortions. Proving without any doubt that ABORTIONS are the main priorty of Planned Parenthood and not aiding the health needs of the poor.

If you had any doubt about Planned Parenthoods true motives doubt no more.

Planned Parenthood signIndiana Planned Parenthood, which lost $3 million in state funding, is halting services to Medicaid patients.

Planned Parenthood took that action pending a federal court decision. At issue is a newly signed law that halts state funds for any abortion-provider. Sue Swayze of Indiana Right to Life tells OneNewsNow Planned Parenthood made a poor choice.

“As our governor is fond of saying, they could have simply stopped providing abortions in order to comply with the new law,” the pro-lifer explains, “but instead [they] have chosen to stop serving women’s health patients and keep the abortion side of the house.” Swayze calls that “a telling statement of where their priorities lie.”

Susan Swayze (Indiana Family Inst.)Does that mean Medicaid patients will have to do without breast exams, pap tests, birth control, and other healthcare services Planned Parenthood provided?

“Absolutely not,” responds the activist. “In fact, Indiana has over 800-plus Medicaid providers throughout the state as well as upwards of 100 freestanding family planning clinics — Title X, and other kinds of family planning clinics. There are lots of other providers.”

Swayze also says one would hope Planned Parenthood would care enough about its clients to refer them to other facilities where they can get the medical assistance, rather than just dumping them. Meanwhile, the Obama administration is threatening to halt all Medicaid funding to Indiana.
