Media Dislikes GOP Primary Ticket Calls it Weak

Have they bothered to look across the aisle to see how weak the Dems Ticket is? Obama has to run unopposed in order to even get on the ballot, and just to be sure that O can win they will do whatever it takes to clear out the opposing teams bench before the election. This sounds like a communist dictatorship somehow or is it just me?

Let us not forget that Obama did not actually win the primaries in 2008, Hillary forfeited her ELECTORIAL COLLEGE votes to O to put him over the top. They even cut the primary short and did not allow two states to vote for fear O was going to loose the primary.

For your information all you naysayers, the toothfairy could be running on the GOP ticket and have more qualifications to lead then the current President. Mr Magoo would make a better President then Obama. Anyone on the GOP ticket is better than anyone on the DEM ticket. Oh yeah that’s right the best the dems got is OBAMA since they have no one else to put on the ticket.

Is it 2012 yet?

How to Fix Social Security Amish Style

How a religious sect stood together and fought for exemption from Social Security and later Medicare. They stood together to resist the social programs and later taxes that they say went against their religious beliefs.

While the Amish would endure rendering unto Caesar what was in fact Caesar’s, they had until now lived in such a way as to stay independent from anything that was Caesar’s. So taxation was not a problem. But this new imposition of Social Security taxes was new, for it struck against two core Amish beliefs.

The first was against insurance in general. Commercial insurance was seen as a way of trying to cheat God’s providence. Right or wrong in this particular belief, they had rightly seen all the leftist propaganda and by then official literature detailing the program as “Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance.” Thus they would refuse to pay taxes for such an entitlement.

The second belief was a strict separation of church and state—the state should not cross the line into wealth redistribution and welfare. The Amish powerfully upheld their own welfare community independently of any government coercion:

Perhaps most importantly, the care of the elderly is the responsibility of the family and community, not the government. Whether it be additions built onto the main house where grandparents “retire,” benefit sales to pay large medical bills, or the community effort of a barn-raising, the Amish truly try to “take care of their own.”

An example that can be emulated throughout society, but for far too many it is easier to relinquish our responsibilities to a third-party in this case the state and subsequently relinquish our liberties as well. From public education to Social security and Medicare, we have replaced personal liberty and as a result reneigned on our own personal responsibilities, for payments to the state. We no longer take care of our own.

Perhaps we would do better to emulate the Amish and disavow government seizure of our liberties. Can you live without a government hand-out? Do you need nanny government to take care of you? Really, do you?

China believes that Christianity is responsible for much of the historic success of Western Europe and the United States, said Dr. William Jeynes, senior fellow of The Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, N.J., during a presentation at the Family Research Council on Tuesday.

But while the Chinese government is open to Christianity, it also “wants to control Christianity.” Those in authority are very much aware of the Church’s role in bringing down the Berlin Wall and advancing democracy in the Soviet bloc.

“So they want Christianity for the benefits but they want to control it, and that is the balance they are trying to achieve.”

As a recent article in the Christian Post indicates China sees the benefits Christianity brought to the Western world. And since they wish to overtake America as the number one economic powerhouse they want to attempt to harness the benefits of Christianity while at the same time control its influence on the population. On the flip side policy makers and anti-Christian special interests groups in America are doing everything they can to end any Christian influence from our society. I guess you really do not know what you have until you loose it. Since China’s population has been oppressed for so long the light of the Gospel of  Christ shines very brightly through the dim light of communism. However in America which once was a shining city on a hill, the light of God’s blessing is quickly being extinguished by those who liken themselves as progressives.

The contrast between a regressive society realizing the blessings we as a nation seem to take for granted is striking and should make us pause long enough to once again gain the courage to stand up for what made America great. American exceptionalism is based solidly on the foundation of the Christian faith.

China sees it do you?

And that is this week’s tail feather. Think about it!

But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness. Isaiah 40:31 Open Link in New Window (BBE)
