24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that
it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his
own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:24-28 (KJV)

Ida the missing link primate fossil - whole skeletonAlthough evolved, a case could be made that mankind is nothing more than a advanced animal life. Scientists now believe they have found the “missing link” in “Ida” a skeleton reportedly 47 million years old. Discovered in 1983 in the Messel Pit in Germany, the fossil was made public Tuesday May 19.

Scientists say Ida is the most complete primate group of fossils found to date including lorises, lemurs, monkeys, apes and yes, Man.

Scientists also claim the fossil proves the transition from the prosimians, like lemurs, to anthropoids, like apes and humans. Those who made the discovery say it is this “link” between the early primate animals to the evolution of humans.

Some in mainstream scientific community aren’t so quick to claim this supposed long lost relative. “It’s not a missing link, it’s not even a terribly close relative to monkeys, apes and humans, which is the point they’re trying to make,” said Chris Beard, a curator of vertebrate paleontology at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in
Pittsburgh.

You decide for yourself if you think one of your great, great, great, great ancestors had a tail. I do not know how scientists make their assessment of what a dead fossil would look like as a live species, that is a science above my pay grade. So as for me and my house, I think I am going to stick with the idea that in the beginning God created each species of land, air and sea animal after their own kind and then he created man in His own image. So then all land creatures were created before man, on the sixth day of creation, so it could be said they preceded man, but God made Man to have dominion over all these lessor created animals, not to be one of them.  I just do not see God swinging from a tree by his tail. What say you?

This sounds reasonable enough to me. Would any of you democrats want to explain to me and to the rest of America why you refuse to allow us to tap the energy resources that BELONGS TO WE THE PEOPLE? That us OUR OIL and those are OUR RESOURCES, and the jobs those resources would create could go a long way toward turning this economy around. It is foolish to think that you can go from 1% energy generation to enough wind and solar energy to reduce our use of carbon based fuels in a reasonable enough time frame to totally rule out all carbon based fuels. That is just plain foolhardy. Of course there is enough hot air in Washington if we could just tap that perhaps we would not need any other energy source. What say you?

In the party’s weekly radio and Internet address Saturday, Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said Republicans support a more comprehensive energy plan that would increase funding for energy research, develop U.S. oil and gas resources and promote clean coal and nuclear power.

He said renewable energy such as wind and solar power is important, noting that Wyoming has world-class wind resources. But Barrasso said wind and solar only account for about 1 percent of U.S. electricity, far below what is needed to meet the nation’s energy needs.

“There’s enough oil shale in the Rocky Mountain West alone to power America for the next hundred years,” he said. “As a nation, we need to be more energy independent. It is a matter of energy security, as well as national security.”

“As we approach this Memorial Day, it is my hope that the Democrats can work with us to develop solutions to make our energy supply clean, affordable and reliable,” he said.

Does CO2 Cause Global Warming? We Debate You Decide

You decide whom you believe. Al Gore or several climatologists. You decide if a naturally occuring gas that we exhale and plants inhale for growth could actually cause Global warming. And if the earth does warm is that really a problem? I mean what is the alternative? Another ICE AGE? How is that going to save energy or promote PLANT growth on the planet? It would appear to me that common sense dictates that God would not create a GAS CO2 which is needed to sustain life would actually be detrimental to that life. I do believe man can cause global warming but not from CO2 but from S I N.

In the end it will not be man causing global warming but God. Check this out:

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [ material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10 (AMP)

Once again “Barry” signs legislation designed to make us less safe citing “wasteful spending”. Isn’t that like the pot calling the kettle black? This logic coming from the President who is singlehandedly bankrupting our nation. Why doesn’t he and the rest of those capital hill socialists cut some of the PORK out of their recent PORKULUS bill? And while they are about BUDGET cuts why not SCRAPE the recent 900+ page cap and trade bill they are trying to push on American business.

This would be laughable if it were not so serious.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama has signed into law a bill aimed at tightening the controls on defense spending, saying it is “long overdue.”
Obama noted one study which found that roughly $295 billion of taxpayers’ money was wasted last year on cost overruns involving 95 defense programs.
He said wasteful defense spending “is unacceptable” at a time when the country is fighting two wars and trying to overcome a deep recession at home.
