NPR Silences Christian Speech

Freedom of speech. Not if you happen to speak in religious tones. This really does not come as any surprise to me. This is the first step in silencing any DISSENTING speech against an out of control government. NPR is owned by THE TAXPAYERS of which Christians are a part. Therefore all tax payers should be represented and not just those who happen to speak the same language as the government that controls them.

Free speech means just that. And when it comes to radio you can always turn the dial if you do not like what you are listening to which is exactly what I am going to do with NPR turn the dial off.

NPR logoIn 1985, National Public Radio (NPR) adopted a policy stating that member stations had to provide “nonsectarian, non-political, noncommercial” educational programming. But in February 2009, the wording was changed to say: ”NPR Member Stations shall provide ONLY [emphasis added] nonsectarian, non-political, noncommercial educational content on all broadcast channel(s) and related media distribution platforms such as member partners that use the NPR member brands.”
The rule, which takes effect May 1, means that any NPR stations carrying religious programming must cease and desist that programming as of that date. In explaining its decision in a similar matter, PBS — another federally funded media outlet — says it “places a high value on presenting diverse perspectives, as opposed to rigidly adhering to any single political or religious point of view.” Allowing such programming, it continues, “would cause the public’s trust in PBS to erode, along with the value of the brand.”

There is Something in the Water: Drugs…

This would certainly explain the drug induced coma the followers of a certain political figure exhibit. But then again they may be deliberately taking drugs and not only getting it from the water they drink.

Oh well I knew there had to be something in the water to explain all this craziness.

Last year, the AP reported that trace amounts of a wide range of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in American drinking water supplies. Including recent findings in Dallas, Cleveland and Maryland’s Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, pharmaceuticals have been detected in the drinking water of at least 51 million Americans.

Here’s Your Stimulus Check America!

That is how much the current government thinks we are worth. They spend 700 billion and we get $250.00. Why did you vote for this guy again?

Just a point of fact, we are the economy. If Obama really wished to stimulate the economy he would give us all TAX CUTS not hand-me-downs. What a joke, but this eagle is not laughing. My talons are sharpened and ready to take captives.

WASHINGTON- More than 50 million retirees can expect to receive $250 payments from the government in the next few weeks.

It’s their share of the economic stimulus package enacted in February.

The payments are part of the $787 billion package of spending and tax cuts enacted to help boost the economy. They will go to people who receive Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, railroad retirement or veteran’s disability benefits.

The payments are meant for people who did not qualify for the new “Making Work Pay” tax credit that provides up to $400 to individuals and $800 to couples. Taxpayers who would otherwise qualify for both will have the $250 payments deducted from their tax credits.

The new messiah?

Artist Michael D’Antuono was planning to unveil “The Truth” — a portrait of President Obama wearing a crown of thorns and holding his hands in crucifix form — tomorrow in New York’s Union Square to commemorate Obama’s 100th day in office, but decided to cancel after receiving thousands of angry e-mails about the portrait’s religious overtones.

The portrait, which shows Obama lifting a dark veil to reveal (or hide) the presidential seal, was not meant to offend Christians or make light of their beliefs, D’Antuono told Mark Hemingway of National Review Online.

Whether D’Antuono is sincerely aiming for deep conversation or mere provocation is unclear; his own website describes the painting this way: “More than a presidential portrait, ‘The Truth’ is a politically, religiously and socially-charged statement on our nation’s current political climate and deep partisan divide that is sure to create a dialogue.”

I am not sure what this artist really meant by his depiction but I certainly can see the messiah likeness represented in his painting. I can hear the shouts of hosanna coming from the disciples of this “messianic” cult figure all across the land and particularly on the network news. There are some who worship at the church of Obama without any pause or reflection. They are like sheep being led to the slaughter and apparently D’Antuono is one of them. As for me any my house I shall serve the Lord and Him only. You can have your false messiah, I’ll keep the one and only Jesus. Nevertheless Lord Jesus come quickly!

Lego Jesus

The journey of a 30,000 Legos begins with only one. I had a hard time building the designs that came on the actual box of Legos when I was a child. I would have never thought about doing anything like this. Isn’t it amazing what can be done if someone just gets a vision for it?
