I like chocolate! Okay I really like chocolate but to worship at the foot of chocolate is well just silly.

As a chocolatier to the rich and famous, Martucci Angiano has posed with many celebrities _ but on Thursday she held in her hand a figure that dazzles her more than any Hollywood star.

Workers at Angiano’s gourmet chocolate company, Bodega Chocolates, discovered under a vat a 2-inch-tall column of chocolate drippings that they believe bears a striking resemblance to the Virgin Mary.

Since the discovery Monday, Angiano’s employees have spent much of their time hovering over the tiny figure, praying and placing rose petals and candles around it.

“I was raised to believe in the Virgin Mary, but this still gives me the chills,” Angiano said as she balanced the dark brown figure in her hand. “Everyone should see this.”

Getting an education that matters

It is that time of year again when school bells are ringing the end of the summer vacation has come. The big yellow beasts are rolling out of there summer time slumber to again search the streets of our cities and towns for hungry souls to feed upon. As sleepy eyed children stand awaiting its arrival these bright yellow busses round up our precious little ones and whisk them away to institutions of learning. Hold on just one minute shall we? What exactly are we teaching our children? What is it that we are preparing them for? Are we really instilling in these young ones the necessary tools to survive in life faced with spiritual onslaughts each and every day? Does reading, writing and arithmetic make it when faced with the real issues of life? Have we completely threw the baby out with the bath water?

Boston”s Big Dig or Boston”s Big Mistake?

Corruption and graft run amok in downtown Boston. The BIG DIG became a BIG DISASTER as ceiling tiles began to fall from the tunnel roof. Inferior construction was found throughout the over priced, federal boondoggle another example of Government run amok. It is time We the PEOPLE rise up and start to hold our elected officials accountable for their graft and corruption. Big money and pork barrel spending has reached epidemic proportions in our governments. Our very lives and livelihoods are at stake. I for one am tired of gouvernent waste on every level. Take your hand out of my pocket Uncle Sam.

Who decided that the best way to ventilate a ceiling was to suspend the basement floor over our heads?
